Anonymous asked:What's your opinion of herbalism?
I think Herbalism is a great product. The name of the product actually means “belief in the healing power of herbs”, so naturally Herbalism is packed full of ‘em. Rosemary and chamomile are both antiseptic and help prevent bacteria growth, which can contribute to blemishes. Rosemary will also help flush out toxins from the skin while chamomile is soothing and gentle.
The base of the cleanser is kaolin clay which is known as “nature’s detoxifier” and reaches really, really deep down into the pores to remove dirt and debris. Rice bran is another important ingredient in Herbalism. Rice bran will actually “mop up” excess oil on the skin, helping to leave a nice matte finish.
We can’t forget ground almonds which give a gentle exfoliation and polish the skin. And also rose absolute which is extremely soothing on skin.
Over all, I would generally recommend Herbalism to some with fairly oily-prone skin. The great thing about this cleanser is that it will definitely clean, but it won’t remove essential oils from. It will also sooth to boot!
Hope this helps! Don’t forget that my inbox is always open if other questions arise.
